In 2020, inspired by Chestertown’s thriving arts community, Peter and Hanna Woicke offered their collection of contemporary sculpture to the town for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike. Encompassing works by eighteen artists across three continents and in a wide variety of media, the collection has been installed at carefully-selected sites across the town. With the last few sculptures coming into place in the spring of 2025, it is time to celebrate these artworks and share the town’s pride in them.

Hosted by Washington College President Mike Sosulski and his wife Dr. Cori Crane at the historic Hynson-Ringgold House, this event is our opportunity to recognize the volunteers, donors, town officials, and craftspeople who made this gift possible and raise a toast to them all.
